Moayyad Akkad Joins BBM Licensing as Licensing Manager

BBM Licensing is pleased to announce the appointment of Moayyad Akkad as Licensing Manager, further strengthening the agency’s capabilities in brand licensing, intellectual property commercialization, entertainment, media, and strategic partnerships across the Middle East and international markets.

With more than 15 years of experience in licensing, brand management, and commercial development, Moayyad brings extensive expertise in building successful licensing programs, expanding brands into new territories, and developing strategic partnerships that create long-term value for intellectual properties and consumer brands.

Throughout his career, Moayyad has worked across the Middle East, Africa, Turkey, and international markets, leading licensing, brand representation, and commercial growth initiatives for globally recognized entertainment and consumer brands. His experience spans licensing negotiations, retail development, promotional partnerships, market expansion, and business development across multiple categories and territories.

Prior to joining BBM Licensing, Moayyad held leadership positions with leading organizations, including Animation International, where he played a key role in driving licensing programs, retail expansion, promotional campaigns, and brand growth throughout the GCC, MENA region, and emerging markets.

During his career, Moayyad has successfully negotiated and managed licensing agreements for internationally recognized intellectual properties, working closely with licensors, manufacturers, retailers, distributors, and media partners to maximize brand value and unlock new commercial opportunities.
